Create a FuelsManager® network and provide data to multiple FuelsManager® workstations. Standard and Professional Editions can be combined in a single network. For example, a Standard Edition client is able to connect to a server running the Professional Edition. This allows the client to view all custom graphics, reports, input/output and triggered points configured on the server.
A Flexible Client/Server System
- Integrate easily into existing site networks, (LANs & WANs) or create a network infrastructure solely for FuelsManager® application workstations.
- Operate your system on standard Intel servers and workstations running Microsoft Windows and Windows Server.
- Provide data to other systems via FuelsManager®s ODBC compliant database. Real-time data is written to an ODBC compliant database on a user-defined periodic basis. This data is then available to other applications either locally or via a network.
- Extensive network capabilities offer the opportunity to have real-time data at any connected location for administrative and accounting purposes. FuelsManager® components interact via standard networking techniques, such as TCP/IP.
- Implement redundant server configurations using Microsoft Clustering Services and utilizes a Microsoft SQL Server database and Reporting Services. Web-based applications require Microsoft Internet Information Server.
- Choose from a wide range of communications possibilities when connecting equipment or sharing data throughout the FuelsManager® system. Connections to new digital buses can be utilized, such as Ethernet, Foundation Fieldbus or Profibus. Alternatively, wireless communications can be used, such as spread spectrum radio and WiFi, that eliminate expensive wiring at the terminal.
