Manage, Utilize and Cross Reference All Operational Data
Multiple modules provide a system for managing all equipment, facility access, maintenance, personnel and training records that are used by FuelsManager. All information is cross-linked to enable immediate reporting and activity alerts.
- Product Allocations. Control product throughput at any level in the company hierarchy. Allocations can be defined per day, week, month or year and also configured to automatically reset at the end of the allocation period.
- Companies. FuelsManager supports the ability to assign multiple roles for all companies within your supply chain, such as a Supplier, Manager, Stockholder, Shipper, Bill-to Customer, Ship-to Customer or Carrier.
- Equipment & Stations. Various stations are supported, including entry and exit gates, loading racks, weigh stations and equipment types, such as tractor, trailer, rail car, etc., each with its individual configuration. For example, test and inspection information can be stored for trucks and loading cannot occur unless a specific truck meets the requirements you have set.
- Training. Easily build a database of training requirements for any location. The trainer can record which personnel have completed the required training and when they require retraining. This allows the dispatcher to easily match qualified personnel to the available equipment and task at hand.
- Alerts. Restrict access and provide automatic alerts against personnel that are requested to perform activities for which they are not qualified.
- Certifications. Track and record certifications on equipment with site specific status codes, user comments and scheduled maintenance tasks.
Companies and Hierarchy
FuelsManager supports the ability to assign one or more roles for each company doing business at the terminal. The following list describes each role that may be assigned to a company.
- Supplier. A company that ships product to a terminal via a carrier
- Manager. A company responsible for a physical inventory on behalf of one or more Owners
- Owner. A company having a book inventory at a facility
- Shipper. A company that sells product on behalf of an Owner
- Bill-to Customer. A company that receives invoices of products sold by a Shipper
- Ship-to Customer. A company that receives products from a Shipper. Ship-to Customers are configured with authorized products and Carriers to ensure proper control of all deliveries.
- Carrier. A company responsible for transporting product. Drivers, Ship-to Customers and equipment, such as tractors and trailers, are assigned to Carriers.
FuelsManager allows the definition of a company hierarchy to meet the terminal’s unique business requirements. Each customer is configured with the appropriate customer information and assigned the applicable roles. Customer and order numbers are assigned to a specific hierarchy, allowing all companies taking part in a pickup to be defined by a single number. This number may be entered by a driver, loader or read from a card by a card reader at any station.
Product Allocations
FuelsManager supports configuring allocations to control product throughput at any level in the company hierarchy. For example, an allocation can be configured for a Manager to limit the total product throughput for the physical inventory assigned to that Manager. FuelsManager may also be configured to limit product for a specific Ship-to Customer. Allocations may be set up per day, week, month or year and may be configured to automatically reset at the end of the allocation period.
